● ஆப்கானிஸ்தான், பூட்டான், மியான்மர், தஜிகிஸ்தான் மற்றும் இலங்கை உட்பட 19 மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் அண்டை நாடுகளில் செயல்பாடுகள்.
● பணியாளர்கள்: பொது ரிசர்வ் பொறியாளர் படையிலிருந்து பெற்றோர் பணியாளர்கள் உருவாக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.
● இந்திய இராணுவத்தின் பொறியாளர்களின் கார்ப்ஸ் அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் துருப்புக்களால் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் பெற்றவர்கள்.
● ஆயுதப் படைகளில் சேர்த்தல்: ஆயுதப் படைகளின் போர் வரிசையில்.

Border Roads Organization
- It is a statutory body under the ownership of the Ministry of Defence
- Aim : To secure India's borders and develop infrastructure in remote areas of the north and northeast states.
Border Roads Development Board (BRDB):
● Set up by the Government of India for coordination and expeditious execution of projects.
● Prime Minister : chairman of the board
● Defence Minister : Deputy Chairman.
- Functions:
● Develops and maintains road networks in India's border areas and neighboring countries.
● Operations in 19 states, and neighboring countries including Afghanistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, Tajikistan, and Sri Lanka.
● Personnel: From the General Reserve Engineer Force form the parent cadre.
● Staffed by Officers and Troops from the Indian Army's Corps of Engineers on deputation.
● Inclusion in Armed Forces: In the Order of Battle of the Armed Forces.
- Motto: "Shramena Sarvam Sadhyam" (Everything is achievable through hard work).
